Guildhouse Rosepride are preparing to bring the atmosphere of Covent Garden to Croydon’s Old Town.

We are committed to making a destination of Exchange Square, with the historic Pump House at its heart, with small shop units, food and drink outlets and a partly-covered Covent Garden style space for activities and events.

Underlining our commitment to Croydon and restoring Old Town to its former glories, we intend to change perceptions of Croydon by bringing the wonderful Pump House building back to life and bringing life and vitality to a forgotten part of town.

The plans, being drawn up in close consultation with Croydon Council’s regeneration team, include refurbishment of the Pump House as a tech hub, café/music/art venue and restaurant.

The aim is to create a destination for Croydon’s burgeoning arts scene while complementing neighbouring Surrey Street Market by producing pop-up retail outlets, helping to fill the void while Westfield and Hammerson redevelop the Whitgift Shopping Centre over the next three years.
